Your vision will become clear only when you look into your heart. Who looks outside, dreams. Who looks inside, awakens.

Focusing
WHAT is Focusing:
Focusing deepens and expands what we already know, and helps us sense into what may yet be unknown, by helping us to access that which is still forming. Stories, memories, images, sensations and movements, when given space and time, arise naturally from within our bodies and help us to discover the right next steps in our lives.
When we Focus, we are guided by the wisdom of our highest self, which includes our bodily knowing, while welcoming everything that arises with friendly curiosity and compassion. What comes will also reveal our thoughts, opinions, beliefs and judgments. Focusing helps us to remain in the tension of not knowing, so that our inner wisdom has space and time to emerge. Focusing is a profound tool in empowering ourselves to trust and commit to our own process.
Focusing is an inner awareness process of unfolding, which brings a freshly sensed understanding of an issue or challenge in one’s life.
Focusing can help you listen inwardly to navigate issues such as:
- Life transitions and the full range of emotions that accompany
- Action blocks
- Difficult relationships that enact negative patterns that no longer serve you well
- Anxiety and other intense feelings such as grief, regret, anger and shame
- Reliance on behaviors that no longer serve you
- Making decisions that are aligned with your integrity
- Accessing your authentic voice and expression
- Inner critic and self-judgement that keep you afraid and small
- Finding inner liberation so as to live authentically
- Cultivating and supporting connection to Self and its natural movement towards wholeness
Your vision will become clear only when you look into your heart. Who looks outside, dreams. Who looks inside, awakens.

WHY Focusing:
As living beings we want to live forward and when no stoppages exist in our process, we naturally live with flow, ease and vitality from one moment to the next. However when our process becomes stuck, through trauma or other suppressions or inhibitions of life energy, we become limited in our capacity to respond in ways that allow us to carry our life energy forward naturally.
With Focusing we begin to move beyond these stoppages and to live our lives more fully, able to respond to both inner and outer challenges in a way that is aligned with our deepest values and longings. As humans we are perpetually in a state of change. Focusing gives us a protected space to listen in to our innate wisdom and guidance about how our life energy is yearning to move us forward in our lives. Through this inner relationship with the places that arise in us, we begin to embrace and enjoy our living process of becoming.
Focusing gives us a map to sense into our next steps of inner growth and new ways of being. Focusing is a process that, when practiced and tended to over time with patience and a gentle curiosity, cultivates a freshly sensed and embodied, grounded inner landscape within which the Focuser finds nourishment and beauty.
As your witness and guide, I accompany you on your journey.
Healing and transformation happen in relationship – both in the safe space between Focuser and guide, as well as in the inner relationship you cultivate towards the parts in you that need your awareness and attention.
